Bee venom has the strongest effect on mammals. Healthy people can receive 10 times of bee stings to cause local reactions. Accepting 200~300 bee stings can cause poisoning; 蜇500 times in a short time can cause death. The clinical use of bee venom has a small therapeutic dose. Therefore, it is safe to use bee venom, but each person's sensitivity to bee venom varies greatly. Some people are allergic to bee venom, and there is a strong local redness reaction in the bee sting area. Or a serious fatal reaction, therefore, the clinical use of bee venom and penicillin, the use of pure bee venom for the diagnosis of allergic skin test and desensitization treatment. Most people will be immune to bee venom. Connective tissue disease
The underlying pathology of connective tissue disease is mucoid edema and fibrin-like degeneration of loose connective tissue, which is commonly found in such diseases as rheumatism and rheumatoid arthritis.
Since the 18th century, reports on the efficacy of bee venom on rheumatism have been common. In 1888, Tersh reported the fact that 173 patients with rheumatism were cured by bee stings. In 1912, Rudolf Terch used bee venom to treat 666 patients with rheumatism. Clinical results showed that 554 people recovered and 99 had significant effects. Chinese medical workers have also achieved ideal results in the treatment of rheumatism and rheumatoid arthritis with bee venom.
Neuritis and neuralgia
Bee venom has a significant effect on the treatment of neuralgia and neuritis. In 1960, Podrov treated 100 patients with trigeminal neuralgia with bee venom and all were cured. In 1959, Sokolov treated 51 patients with spinal neuropathy with bee venom. As a result, 43 patients were cured, 4 patients improved significantly, and 4 patients improved symptoms. Bee venom has a good effect in the treatment of hypertension atherosclerosis, venous thrombosis, thromboangiitis obliterans and endarteritis. In 1958, Konoenko treated 830 cases of hypertension with bee venom, 289 cases of blood pressure dropped to normal, 420 cases of blood pressure decreased significantly, and 121 cases of ineffectiveness, the effective rate was 85%.
Bronchial asthma is a common allergic disease. In 1964, Alesk used bee venom to treat 140 patients with such conditions, of which 50 were treated with bee stings and 90 were injected with bee venom. Results Most patients had good curative effect, asthma stopped, and dyspnea was relieved. All patients felt that bee venom had a sputum effect, and the long-term effective rate of bee venom was 80%.
